# Mikey Piro

Creating what endures by reflecting on the timeless.

Veteran. Founder. Writer. Father of four.

## The Story So Far

**Warrior Scholar.** Lacrosse player and West Point graduate. Ranger qualified. Served in Infantry and Cavalry, with two combat deployments to Iraq. Philosophy major, plus on-the-job training in mechanized infantry.

**Builder.** Worked on developer infrastructure at Meta, then founded [Guild.ai](https://www.guild.ai/), the control plane for AI agents. Guild is the infrastructure layer that makes AI systems manageable, observable, and deployable at scale.

**Nerd.** Fighting games, comic books, Warhammer 40k, anime, sci-fi paperbacks. The stuff that kept a kid curious became the fuel for an adult who never stopped building worlds.

## Projects

**Arcade v2.** The fighting game at the top of the homepage, rebuilt: twelve fighters, real blocking, custom specials for every character, original stages, and support for controllers and arcade sticks. [Build status](https://www.mikeypiro.com/projects/arcade-v2.md).
